NoteŽThe disadvantage of raid 1 is that it can not expand the capacity. Once a raid I need to expand the support
capacity it , before adding the new disk , you need to backup all the data, all the other raid class can be
expand.
13.1 Necessary condition of bind ing:
-- A security key is needed for every NDAS.
-- The NDAS which is managed can’t be bind again.
--The NDAS which is managed in computer need to be connecting including the computer itself.
--The managed NDAS must be formatted
--Once the binding is fini shed, the other user is not allowed to be install
Note: Aggregation, RAID0, RAID1 can be used only in Windows xp and Windows 2000.
13.2 Connecting condition
NDSA must be in the condition of connecting before NDAS is managed.
1, Select the NDAS needed among the NDAS bind management.
--If NDAS is in the condition of being installed, select releasing the installation.
--If NDAS is connecting, please maintain the origin.
--If NDAS is unconnecting, please try to connect again.
--If NDAS is in the condition of unmoving, please activate the installation.
2, a warm conversation form will be shown.
3, click “yes”
4 wait for the process of changing for seconds. If the NDAS haven’t been changed to white, please click refresh
button.
5, repeat above steps for any NDAS needed to install.
6 please make sure that another computer visit NDAS in connecting condition.
