Mounting BC832 on the Host PCB
The following figure shows recommended mounting of BC832 module on the host PCB.
• For the best Bluetooth range performance, the antenna area of module shall extend 3.2 mm outside the
edge of a ground plane.
• The next choice is to place module on a corner of host PCB. No ground place directly below the 3.2x7.8mm
antenna area of module.
• For wearable, it is acceptable to place a coin battery directly below the antenna area of module. Bluetooth
range is reduced but acceptable when pairing with a smartphone on the antenna side. Bluetooth signal is
blocked on the battery side.
