When manufacturing a premium line of hoods, the choice of materials obviously plays a
fundamental role. For all Design hoods, Falmec uses AISI 304 stainless steel, made of an 18%
chrome and 8% nickel alloy. Hygienic, easy to clean, and extremely resistant to corrosion,
AISI 304 is without a doubt the best material to be used in a kitchen environment. Falmec also
utilizes exclusive Fasteel imprint-proof stainless steel which is a contributing factor in making
Falmec hoods unique. Thanks to this innovative ”no ngerprint technology,” the surface
always retains its beautiful luster and will remain free of blemishes.
In an effort to provide quality design and value to our customers Falmec also utilizes AISI
403 in the production of the Potenza and Insert product lines. This stainless steel is most
commonly used in the luxury appliance industry and provides a beautiful nish for a lifetime
of enjoyment at a great value.
