ThismanualisintendedtomeettheManufacturer'sInstructionsasrequiredbyANSIZ359andshouldbeusedaspartofan
employeetrainingprogramasrequiredbyOSHA.

WARNING
Thisproductispartofapersonalfallarrest,restraint,workpositioning,suspension,orrescuesystem.APersonalFallArrest
System(PFAS)istypicallycomposedofananchorageandaFullBodyHarness(FBH),withaconnec tingdevice,i.e.,aShock
AbsorbingLanyard(SAL),oraSelf‐RetractingDevice (SRD), attached
tothedorsalD‐ringoftheFBH.

Theseinstructionsmustbeprovidedtotheworkerofthisequipment.Theworkermustreadandunderstandthe
manufacturer'sinstructionsforeachcomponentorpartofthecompletesystem.Manufacturer'sinstructionsmustbe
followedforproperuse,care,andmaintenanceofthis
product.Theseinstructionsmustberetainedandbekeptavailable
fortheworker’sreferenceatalltimes.Alterationsormisuseofthisproduct,orfailuretofollowinstructions,mayresultin
seriousinjuryordeath.

AFallProtectionPlanmustbeonfileandavailableforreviewbyallworkers.
Itistheresponsibilityoftheworkerandthe
purchaserofthisequipmenttoassurethatworkersofthisequipmentareproperlytrained initsuse,maintenance,and
storage.Trainingmustberepeatedatregularintervals.Trainingmustnotsubjectthetraineetofallhazards.

Consultadoctorifthereisreasontodoubtyourfitnesstosafelyabsorbtheshockofafallevent.Ageandfitnessseriously
affectaworker’sabilitytowithstand falls.Pregnantwomenorminorsmustnotusethisequipment. 

