Charging digital vehicles
ADVICE:
The charging procedure may last up to two hours.
The digital vehicle need not be discharged prior to the charging proce-
dure as the charging unit checks the voltage at the rechargeable battery
of the vehicle and adjusts the charging curve accordingly.
Whenever a LED quickly flashes while the charging unit is in operation,
this is a fault message. To remedy the fault, see Chapter 7 “How to deal
with problems”, page 35.
If the rechargeable battery heats up to a temperature higher than that of
the hand during the charging procedure, immediately interrupt the pro-
cedure and send the vehicle to FALLER’s customer service department.
Prerequisite condition: the charging unit is connected.
X
Switch the vehicle off.
Fig. 4: Connecting the charging cable to the charging unit
ADVICE: When connecting the charging cable to the charging unit, make
sure you observe the polarity: the red mark on the charging cable must be
connected to the »+« port.
X
Insert the plug located at one end of the charging cable into the socket
of the charging unit, see Fig. 4.
X
Insert the plug located at the other end of the charging cable into the
socket located on the underside of the vehicle.
ADVICE: If, when switching the vehicle on, both LEDs »Car 2« and »voll«
start flashing, this means that the ports of the plug have been inverted. In
such a case rotate the plug by 180°.
