Charging vehicles

Prerequisite condition: the charging unit is connected.

Fully discharge the vehicle by turning it upside down and leaving it swit-
ched on until its wheels come to a standstill.

Switch the vehicle off.

Insert the plug located at one end of the charging cable into the socket
of the charging unit, see Fig. 3.

Insert the plug located at the other end of the charging cable into the
socket located on the underside of the vehicle.

Press the key »Car 1«.
The charging procedure will begin. Both LEDs »Car 1« and »laden«
light up.
LED »Car 1« flashes once every minute to check the state of the rechar-
geable battery.
When LED »voll« lights up, the rechargeable battery is fully charged.
LED of the F0-F4 keys show the status of the charging procedure:

»F0« Check if battery is wrong or if battery’s polarity is
reversed
»F1« Start charging procedure
»F2« Check battery’s voltage
»F3« Read charging CV from vehicle (only digital vehicles)
»F4« Charge rechargeable battery

Disconnect the charging cable from the vehicle and from the char-
ging unit.
