Precautions for Safe Handling
Additional Hazards When Processed: Dust deposits should not be allowed to accumulate on surfaces, as these may form an
explosive mixture if they are released into the atmosphere in sufficient concentration.
Precautions for Safe Handling: When dry sawing or grinding, use dustless systems for handling, storage, and clean up so that
airborne dust does not exceed the PEL. Use adequate ventilation and dust equipment. Practice good housekeeping. Do not permit
dust to collect on walls, floors, sills, ledges, machinery, or equipment. Maintain, clean, and fit test respirators in accordance with
OSHA regulations. Maintain and test ventilation and dust collection equipment. Wash or vacuum clothing which has become dusty.
Hygiene Measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Wash hands and other exposed areas
with mild soap and water before eating, drinking, or smoking and again when leaving work.
Conditions for Safe Storage, Including Any Incompatibilities
Storage Conditions: Store in a dry area.
Incompatible Materials: Strong acids. Strong bases. Strong oxidizers.
