System Options
•
Formats the Input/Output COM port settings.
• When Scale Input Mode is set to Memory Map, the transmission criteria is
inactive and grayed-out.
• When Scale Input Mode is set to a COM Port, set the Port Protocol as needed.
9 Default = 17 for Expected Data Length
IMPORTANT NOTE: Whether the Scale Input Mode is set to Memory Map or
to a COM Port, the external device MUST BE CONFIGURED TO SEND WEIGHT IN
EITHER
POUNDS OR KILOGRAMS. Otherwise LabelBank displays the error
message
“Receiving Wrong Weight Units.”
ATTENTION
Unless the indicator has the Touch Screen feature, checking the Hide Screen
Cursor box can make the computer very cumbersome, and even
INOPERABLE.
If the external device is not set to Pounds or
Kilograms, this message appears.
