Hardware Hand Shake
– A means to control data flow using
hardware functions for communication between two or more devices.
Network Controls
─ DTR (Data Terminal Ready)
– A control signal that indicates
that the Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) is ready for data
transmission.
─ RTS (Request To Send)
– A control line which receives a
verification signal from the CTS Control Line when it is ready to
send data.
