7. Open the Build tab.
8. Left-click on the appropriate field to be
generated within the specific data
string, then select Text.
─ This adds a new Text box to the
Output Data String.
9. Program a command within the Data
String, either enter an ASCII
Character , or input text .
─ When inputting ASCII Characters,
always precede the message with
“ 0x... ” and the equivalent ASCII
code up to 3 digits (i.e. 0x099).
10. Open the Port Settings tab.
11. Program the Baud Rate, Stop Bits ,
and the Parity to the appropriate
settings.
