UV-C or GUV Education
Simplicity at its nest
The BioShift UV-C Chamber is an eco-friendly and cost-effective tool that uses ultraviolet C (UV-C) light sterilization to kill viruses and other pathogens.
The BioShift chamber features an easy-to-use one-button operation with various safety and security features. Magnetic door latches will help ensure it is
securely closed during exposure, while a count-down timer displays how much time is left in the recommended ve minute disinfection cycle. In case of
an emergency, an Emergency Stop button is conveniently located on either side to interrupt the cycle if needed.
Adaptable design
The BioShift Pass-Through UV-C Chamber is available in two sizes, large and small. The small chamber is ideal for small-scale use, limiting the import of
pathogens through everyday items like cell phones, food, eyeglasses and tools, while the large chamber is great for facilities or entrances with a higher
volume of people coming and going every single day, or where large, heavy objects require disinfection.
• GUV (germicidal ultraviolet) is a proven and effective disinfection technology.
• GUV refers to short-wavelength ultraviolet “light” outside of the visible spectrum that is proven to kill bacteria and inactivate viruses...FAST! These short wavelengths in the
photobiological UV spectral band known as “UV-C” are centered at 254nm, which is the optimal source wavelength for eliminating pathogens.
• GUV is an excellent surface and air disinfectant due to its quick germicidal efficacy.
Testing by a nationally recognized laboratory specializing in antimicrobial, biocidal and viricidal effectiveness showed that ve minutes of exposure to UV-C radiation in the
BioShift chamber resulted in the elimination of >99.99% of common viruses and bacteria.
GUV can pose a safety and health hazard to the eyes and skin if the product is improperly used or installed.
Follow recommended practices for utilization and control of GUV products to ensure safe operation.
