PROGRAMMING
Cycle Time
The standard and recommended default disinfection cycle is 5 minutes. However, the
cycle time can be customized to better meet facility protocols. Note: The amount of
killing or inactivation by UV-C radiation is proportional to the amount of exposure time.
TO SET CYCLE TIME:
From the Home screen, choose the Settings button (see Settings Screen
Components).
Choose the Set Cycle button. Note: The time is set by arrowing up or down,
programmed in MM:SS.
Once desired lamp life cycle has been chosen, select the check mark to set.
PROGRAMMING ITEMS TO NOTE:
Controller cannot be programmed if EMERGENCY STOP button(s) are pressed in.
Pressing EMERGENCY STOP button(s) disconnects all power, even to the controller.
If disconnected from power, the BioShift
chamber does not have to be reprogrammed.
Sleep Timer
In order to ensure the longest life, the BioShift chamber will automatically enter sleep
mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. This setting can be changed by following this path:
From the Home screen, choose the Settings button (see Settings Screen
Components).
Choose the Sleep Time option and set to desired time.
Select the check mark to set.
