2. FITTING THE FEET
Remove the appliance from the packaging,
turn upside down and rest on the
polystyrene. Check that neither the
appliance nor the power cable has been
damaged in any way during transportation.
Do not operate the appliance if damaged.
Remove the feet and the castors from the
polystyrene packing.
Fit the castors on the feet using the nuts.
(Fig 1)
Fit the feet with the casters to the bottom
of the radiator using the two arc-shaped
threaded brackets and the butterfly nuts.
Fit only between the external elements as
shown in figures 2 and 3.
Turn the heater to its upright position for
operation.
3. ELECTRICAL CONECTION
Before plugging the radiator into the
mains, check that the voltage of your
mains electricity supply corresponds to
the value V indicated on the appliance
and that the socket and power line are
appropriately dimensioned.
CONNECT YOUR HEATER TO EARTH
PROVIDED SOCKET ONLY.
The appliance complies with EEC
Directive 89/336, relating to electro-
magnetic compatibility.
4. HOW TO USE IT
Switching on
Plug the radiator into the main socket. Turn
the thermostat to "MAX" position. Switch the
radiator on as follows:
Button in position "1" = minimum power
(indicator light ON)
Button in position "2" = intermediate
power (indicator light ON)
Both buttons in position "1" + "2" =
maximum power (indicators lights ON)
To turn the appliance off, switch off both
switches and remove the plug from the wall
socket.
Adjusting the thermostat
When the room has reached the required
temperature, slowly turn the thermostat
back until the power light goes off (or to
the position marked by a click) and no
further. The set temperature will then be
regulated automatically and kept constant
by the thermostat.
The heater requires regular cleaning to
ensure trouble free operation:
Before carrying out any operation on the
radiator, unplug from the electric mains
and wait for it to cool.
