English Installation 27413xx1, 27422xx1 1 min. 2 The showerarm requires a ½" NPT female fitting, recessed at least ⅜" behind the surface of the finished wall. Wrap the threads on the shower arm with Teflon tape. Screw the showerarm onto the female fitting. Seal the wall using waterproof sealant. Failure to seal the wall can lead to water damage. Push the escutcheon against the wall.

Wrap the threads on the nipple with Teflon tape. Seal the ceiling around the nipple with waterproof sealant.
