Seal the ceiling around the
nipple with waterproof sealant.
Failure to seal the ceiling can
lead to possible water damage.
Installation – 27479XX0
The extension pipe requires a 1/2" NPT male nipple,
extending 5/8" outside the finished ceiling surface.
Hold the escutcheon against the ceiling.
Screw the extension pipe onto the nipple.
Wrap the threads on the ceiling nipple with Teflon tape.
