Installation Considerations • For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that this unit be installed by a licensed, professional plumber. • Please read over these instructions thoroughly before beginning installation. Make sure that you have all tools and supplies needed to complete the installation. • This faucet requires rough 10902181 (not included). The rough must be installed and the finished wall completed and made watertight before installation of the trim kit.
English Installation 1 (1) Turn the water off at the main. (2) Remove the flush insert from the rough. 3 mm 2 Cut the plaster shield so that it extends ¹⁄₁₆" - ⅛" outside the surface of the finished wall. 3 Install the seat. Tighten the screws using a 3 mm Allen wrench.

English Seal the wall around the plaster shield with waterproof sealant. 4 Silicon Failure to seal the wall can lead to possible water damage. Install the mounting plate. 5 Tighten the screws using a 4 mm Allen wrench. 4 mm 6 Install the baseplate and seal.

English Lightly lubricate the faucet o-rings using white plumbers' grease. 7 Install the faucet. Tighten the screws using a 3 mm Allen wrench. Set the high temperature limit stop (optional).
