BEFORE USING THE ADAPTOR
BATTERY INSTALLATION B
• Loosen the screw of the battery cover.
• Insert two AAA batteries matching the -/+ polarities of the battery to
the battery compartment.
• Put on the battery cap and rotate it tightly according to the following figures.
POWER ON AND RESETTING THE ADAPTOR
• Press to power on the adaptor.
• Usually press to reset the adaptor before using it.
ATTENTION:
If an external force is applied to the adaptor during power-on/reset or wake
up period, an initial torque offset will exist in the memory.
ACTIVATION DURING SLEEP MODE
• The adaptor will auto sleep after about 2 minutes idle for power
saving. Press to wake up the adaptor during the sleep mode.
CAUTIONS:
During communication period (Send appears), the sleep function is disabled.
RESETTING THE ADAPTOR
• Press will reset the digital adaptor.
• If the adaptor does not function normally,
Press together to reset the digital adaptor.
LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE PROTECTION
• If the battery serial voltage is under 2.3 volts, the adaptor will display a
battery symbol and then turn off after a while.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
ATTENTION:
One-year periodic recalibration is necessary to maintain accuracy.
Please contact your local dealer for calibrations.
CAUTION:
1. Over-torque (110% of Max. torque range) could cause breakage or lose accuracy.
2. Do not shake violently or drop digital adaptor.
3. Do not use this digital adaptor as a hammer.
4. Do not leave this digital adaptor in any place exposed to excessive heat,
humidity, or direct sunlight.
5. Do not use this apparatus in water.(not waterproof)
6. If the digital adaptor gets wet, wipe it with a dry towel as soon as
possible. The salt in seawater can be especially damaging.
7. Do not use organic solvents, such as alcohol or paint thinner when
cleaning the digital adaptor.
8. Keep this adaptor away from magnets.
9. Do not expose this digital adaptor to dust or sand as this could cause serious damage.
10. Do not apply excessive force to the LCD panel.
11. Apply torque slowly and graspe the center of the handle.

ANTES DE UTILIZAR EL MEDIDOR
INSTALACIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS B
• Retire la tapa de las baterías.
• Inserte dos baterías AA haciendo coincidir las polaridades -/+ de la
batería con las del compartimiento de las baterías.
• Coloque la tapa de las baterías y gírela hasta apretar según las
siguientes figuras.
ENCENDIDO Y REINICIO DE LA LLAVE
• Pulse
para encender el medidor digital.
• Habitualmente pulse para reiniciar el medidor digital antes de utilizarla.
Atención: Si se aplica una fuerza externa a el medidor durante el encen-
dido/reinicio o el período de activación, existirá un desplazamiento del par
de torsión inicial en la memoria.

Note: *1: The accuracy of the readout is guaranteed from 20% to 100% of

BATTERY MAINTENANCE
1.
When the digital adaptor is not used for an extended period of time, remove the battery.
2. K eep a spare battery on hand when going on a long trip or to cold areas.
3. Do not mix battery types or combine used batteries with new ones.
4. Sweat, oil and water can prevent a battery’s terminal from making electri-
cal contact. To avoid this, wipe both terminals before loading a battery.
5. Dispose of batteries in a designated disposal area. Do not throw batteries into a fire.
FAST GETTED START
➜ Press
to power on. No appling forces on adaptor.
➜ Target torque or angle will be shown.
➜
Press to select the torque unit or “ ° ” (angle mode)
and then press to set target value .
➜ Or press to select the pre-set target values .
➜ Press to reset adaptor.(suggested) .
➜ Start to rotate adaptor.
➜ Watch out the warning LED, sounds and LCD to stop rotation.
T-mode torque operation
➜ In T-mode, LCD displays the current torque value.
➜ After release force, the LCD value will return to O.
P-mode torque operation
➜ In P-mode, LCD displays the maximum torque value.
➜ After release force, the LCD shows the catched maximum value. (flashing)
➜ Now press
to record maximum torque value, or press to clear it.
Angle operation
➜ In angle mode, LCD displays the angle rotated after the reaching over 5% of
the rated maximum torque.
➜ Now press
to record angle value, or press to clear it.
