SAFETY RULES

HANDLING YOUR FIREARM
• Neverpointarearmatanyoneandalwayskeepthemuzzlepointedinasafedirection.
• Alwaystreatallrearmsasiftheyareloaded.Don’trelyonyourgun’s“safety”.
• Firearmsshouldbeunloadedwhennotinuseandstoredinasafeandsecurelocation.Keep
rearmsandammunitionawayfromchildren.
• Usecorrectammunition.Onlyuseammunitionthatexactlymatchesthecaliberorgauge
markingsonyourrearm.
• Alwayswearearandeyeprotectionwhenshooting.
• Beforeshootingbesurethebarrelisclearofobstructions.
• Neverloadyourrearmuntilyouareinalocationwhereitissafetoshoot.Alwayskeepthe
safetyengageduntilyouarereadytoshoot.
• Keepyourngeroffthetriggerwhileloadingorunloadingtheshotgun.
• Ifyourgunfailstore,keepitpointedinasafedirection,thenunloaditcarefullyavoiding
exposuretobreech.Ifyourgunres,butthereportofrecoilseemweak,unloaditandenure
the barrel is not obstructed.
• Don’talterormodifyyourgun.Useonlygenuineparts.
• Cleanamdmaintaintherearmaccordingtotheinstructionsinthisbooklet.
• Keepyourrearmunloaded.Nevercarryorstorealoadedrearminabuldingoravehicle.
ASSEMBLY
FABARM’ssemi-automaticshotgunsarepackedwiththebarrelsseparatedfromthestock-
receiver-forendgroups.
1. Unscrewtheforendcapfromthestock-receiver-forendgroupandslideofftheforend( FIG.1 )
2. Withtheboltforward,positionthebarrelextensionbetweentheboltandtheinsideofthe
receiverwhileensuringthegascylinderhangingbelowthebarrelslidesovertheshaftof
themagazinecap.Movethebarrelcarefullytotherearuntilitseatsinthereceiverand
thegascylinderisseatedinthegaspiston( FIG.2 ).
3. Slidetheforendoverthegascylinder/pistonandmagazinetubebeingcarefultoguideitall
thewaybackintothetwoslotsofthereceiverthenscrewtheforendcapontothethreaded
shaftofthemagazinecapwhichisprotrudingfromthefrontoftheforend( FIG.3 ).
4. Tightenthiscaprmlybyhand( FIG.4 ).
LOADING THE SHOTGUN.
1. Beforeloadingtheshotgun,putthesafetyonSAFEbypushingthesafetybuttononthe
sidewheretheredstripeisseen.
2. Pushthecut-offleverlocatedontheleftsideofthetriggerguarduntilitclicks( FIG.5 ).
3. Pullthecockinghandlebackuntiltheboltlocksopen( FIG.6 ).
4. Placeashellinthereceiverthroughtheejectionportcrimpedendforward( FIG.7 ).
5. Tochambertheshell,pointtheshotguninasafedirectionanddepressthecarrierlatch
buttonlocatedontheleftsideofthereceiver.Thiswillclosetheboltchamberingtheshell
in the process ( FIG.8 ).
6. Holdtheshotgunupsidedown,cradlingthetopofthereceiverinthepalmofyourlefthand.
Inserttheshellsbypressingthecarrierdownwiththecrimpedendoftheshelltogive
accesstothemagazinetubeuntiltheshelllatchsnapsintoplacetoholdtheshell( FIG.9 ).
7. Taketheshotgunoffsafebypushingthesafetyoff.
