BEFORE HANDLING YOUR FIREARM
• Never point a firearm at anyone and always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe
direction.
• Always treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
• Firearms should be unloaded when not in use and stored in a safe and secure
location. Keep firearms and ammunition away from children.
• Use only CIP certified ammunition. Only use ammunition that exactly matches
the caliber markings on your firearm.
• Always wear ear and eye protection when shooting.
• Before shooting be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions.
• Never load your firearm until you are in a location where it is safe to shoot.
Always keep the safety engaged until you are ready to shoot.
• Keep your finger off the trigger while loading or unloading the firearm.
• Don’t alter or modify your firearm. Use only genuine parts.
• Clean and maintain the firearm according to the instructions in this booklet.
ASSEMBLY
The IRIS bolt action rifle is packed with the main components separated.
1. Hold the stock and frame group in one hand. (Fig.1)
2. Slide the forend to the rear into the rod which is in the front of the frame.

3. Using the appropriate ALLEN wrench N° 3 mm screw in clockwise the
forend retaining screw until tight, but do not over tighten. (Fig.3)
4. Insert carefully the barrel extension into the frame, until it seats perfectly.

5. Rotate the rifle upside down. (Fig.5)
6. Using the appropriate N° 3 mm ALLEN wrench and N ° 5 mm ALLEN
wrench, tighten equally the two screws in clockwise until tight, but do not
over tighten. Do not use any extension tool on the wrench, a good hand
tightness is perfectly sufficient.(Fig.6)
7. Holding the barrel against the frame and the forend so as to maintain its
proper alignment, insert the complete bolt into the frame : with your left
thumb press the bolt stop release which is on the frame left side. (Fig.7)
With the right hand, push the bolt into the chamber, using the bolt lever.
