CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Prior to cleaning the rifle, make sure that it is not loaded!
BARREL
The inside of the barrel must be cleaned and oiled after every session of shooting.
Never use steel brushes to clean the barrel. Prior to shooting, remove any residue
of oil from the barrel and the chamber, otherwise the point of impact may not be
accurate.
METAL PARTS: Clean all the metal parts with a lightly oiled cloth. Keep the
complete bolt and all the metal parts slightly oiled at anytime.
WOOD
Apply time to time moderately linseed oil with a non fluffy cloth.
MAGAZINE
Always keep the magazine unloaded.
STORAGE
Get into the habit of storing your rifle out of reach of children.
Your rifle should be kept in a dry and moderately airy place, away from any strong
source of heat so that the wood will loose any absorbed moisture without
distortion or cracking.
WARNING: Avoid over-lubrification and make sure that no oil or grease gets into
the trigger group, causing malfunctioning.
