The bolt can be pushed until the bolt lever can be turned through 60°
downwards. Only when the bolt lever is in this lower position is the rifle
locked.(Fig.9)
WARNING:
1. If the barrel is not properly engaged into the action frame or if
alignment is incorrect, forcing will only damage the bearing surfaces
and upset the alignment.
2. During assembly, ensure that the barrel, bolt, bolt head and
magazine all match and are the correct calibre.
RECOGNITION OF CORRECT CALIBERS
Make absolutely sure that the caliber of barrel, bolt, bolt head and magazine
correspond.
1. The BARREL caliber is marked on its right side (Fig.10)
2. There are two different bolts which cover the large range of the IRIS
calibers :
- 1 BOLT used for the MINI calibers. (Fig.11)
- 1 BOLT used for all the
STANDARD and MAGNUM calibers.

3. The BOLT HEAD caliber is marked with the following letters :
- MI for MINI calibers (Fig.13)
- ST for STANDARD calibers (Fig.14)
- MG for MAGNUM calibers (Fig.15)
The caliber of the MAGAZINE is engraved on its side. (Fig.16)
