Important Pre-Assembly Info
SIDEWALL SHEET IDENTIFICATION
The bin wall sheets are color coded on the end of the sheets for easy reference as follows:
Green/Gray - 19 Gage Yellow/Black - 13 Gage
Red - 17 Gage Black - 12 Gage
Blue/Yellow - 15 Gage Orange - 11 Gage
Yellow - 14 Gage
To determine the number of sheets per ring, divide the bin diameter by three:
ie: 24' diameter bin divided by 3 = 8 sheets per ring.
BIN HARDWARE AND WHERE IT IS USED
#12 x 3/4” self drilling screw
Used to attach the flashing sealer to the flashing
1/4” x 3/4” bolts and flange nuts
Used to bolt the dump hoppers to the plenum sheets
1/4” x 1” bolts and (2) nuts
Used to bolt the dump chutes to the dump hoppers
5/16" x 1" bin bolts w/ seal washer and nuts
Used in bin sidewall sheets and roof sheets
Used around the door.
Used on the stiffeners
Used at the door and step across platforms
Used at the roof rafter braces
Used at grain bands
5/16" x 1-1/4" bin bolts w/ seal washers and nuts -
Used to bolt the bottom sidewall sheet to the base angle
Used at the tension angle splices
Used at the horizontal seam between the top half sheet and the first full sheet
5/16” x 2 3/4” bolts and nuts
Used at the tension angle / horizontal sidewall seam
Used to bolt the plenum sheets to the plenum rafters
5/16" Flange nuts -
Used under all roof ribs and at plenum sheets
Used at all stiffeners
Used at the tension angle
Used at the perforated roof flashing
Used at the grain bands
5/16" Metal backed neoprene washer
Used at the horizontal sidewall seam with the 5/16” x 2 3/4” bolts
