INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Before installing, check your local and municipal plumbing
codes as different standards and rules may apply in your area.
Important: The Canadian Plumbing Code requires that an air chamber
or surge arresting device be installed to eliminate water hammer.
1.Turn off water supply.
2. Remove the old faucet and clean applicable surface properly
before installing the new faucet.
3. To install insert the faucet shanks through the holes in the sink or
countertop. Place one plastic locknut on each shank from the
underside and tighten gently by hand. Make sure to align the
faucet in the proper position then tighten the plastic locknuts
firmly by hand. Do not over fighten.
4. The water supply tubes are now ready to be connected. Fit the
hot and cold water supply tubes to the appropriate shanks by
threading the coupling nuts onto the shanks. Then tighten to
make a watertight seal. Note: If the water supply tubes are
damaged in any way, they should be replaced.
5. Turn water supply on and inspect for leaks, tighten coupling if
necessary. Remove aerator and clean. Turn both hot and cold
water faucets on to release any debris in the pipes. Replace aerator.
This completes the installation of your new faucet. Check your
installation for possible leaks periodically.
