On the Utilities menu, click Touchscreen Off. The Enable Touchscreen icon is
placed in the upper right hand corner of the instrument display.

Click the Enable Touchscreen icon to enable the touchscreen, keyboard, and
mouse again.
Calibrating the Touchscreen
In normal usage, you should not need to calibrate the touchscreen display. But, if
you feel that it needs to be realigned with the video display, do the following:

If the title bar of the Serial BERT user interface is not visible, select Title Bar
from the Utility menu.

Minimize the Serial BERT user interface window.

In the system tray, next to the clock in the lower right corner, right-click the
Touchscreen Settingsicon to open the menu with the available options.

Select Calibrate, then Device 1, and Normal. A blank screen with a target
appears.

Click the target to start the calibration. When the calibration is complete, the
calibration window will close.
Configuring the Double Click
You can adjust the behavior of the touchscreen display to simulate the double-click
action of a typical personal computer or trackball. To configure the touch settings:

Select Display Utility from the Utility menu. This opens the Configuration
Utilities dialog box.

Click Display to open the Display Area Configuration dialog box.

Click the Timed Double Touch slide bar to adjust the amount of time that can
pass as you touch the display screen. You can preview your adjustment by
clicking/touching the Test Box.
Using the On-Screen Keyboard
You can use the on-screen keyboard to enter text in any text field. It can be used
along with the standard keyboard or keypad.

Click in a text field to position the cursor in it.
