Choose the Verification Method.

If you enable Absolute Bits/Errors, the measurement proceeds with the next
amplitude as soon as one of the two numbers is reached.

Before Running the Test
Before running the test, set up the instrument to ensure that the requirements of
the selected standard are met. Recommended test pattern and additional jitter are
displayed in the standard's description field on the Standard tab of the Jitter
Tolerance Properties dialog.

For DUTs that require a training sequence it is essential to prevent clock loss at
the beginning or end of the test. To avoid clock loss, the sinusoidal jitter component
has to be enabled. Since the sinusoidal jitter for the test is generated internally,
the jitter amplitude must be set to zero:
