DisplayPort Twisted Pair Extenders
The Extron DTPDP4K230 and DTPDP4K330 are
transmitters and receivers for sending DisplayPort,
audio, and bidirectional RS‑232 and IR signals over a
shielded CATx twisted pair cable. The DTPDP4K230
extends signals up to 230feet (70meters), while
the DTPDP4K330 extends signals up to 330feet
(100meters). Both DTPDP4K models provide an
effective means for incorporating higher resolution
DisplayPort with embedded audio into DTP
™
Systems, and the receivers support Type2 dual‑
mode DisplayPort for HDMI, 4K‑capable devices.
They support video signals at resolutions up to 4K,
including 2560x1600 and 1080p/60 Deep Color. The
DTPDP4K230 and DTPDP4K330 accept analog
stereo audio signals for simultaneous transmission over
the same shielded twisted pair cable. The compact
enclosure size and remote power capability make the
DTPDP4K models ideal for discreet placement in
lecterns, beneath tables, behind flat‑panel displays, or
wherever needed to meet application requirements.

DTPTHWP4K331D are single‑gang Decora
®
‑
style transmitters for sending HDMI, audio, and
bidirectional RS‑232 and IR signals over a shielded
CATx cable to Extron DTP
™
‑enabled products. The
DTPTHWP4K231D extends signals up to 230feet
(70meters), while the DTPTHWP4K331D extends
signals up to 330feet (100meters). The one‑gang
form factor provides maximum space efficiency in wall
mount, floor box, and furniture mount applications.
They support video signals at resolutions up to 4K,
including 1080p/60 Deep Color. Both models also
accept analog stereo audio signals for simultaneous
transmission over the same shielded twisted pair cable.
The transmitters feature remote power capability, plus
bidirectional RS‑
232 and IR pass‑through for remote
AV device control. The single‑gang wall‑mountable
design provides the convenience of placing input
connections precisely where they are needed.
