4. (Pendant microphone only) Attach the lanyard (provided) to the microphone clip (a)
and place the lanyard around your neck. The microphone should hang approximately
4 inches (10.2 cm) below your chin. Use the lanyard cord lock (b) to make
adjustments to the length.

5. Turn the microphone power on by sliding the power switch up to the On position.
6. Speak in a normal tone of voice. If necessary, adjust the volume level (see “Adjusting
the Microphone Volume”).
7. When finished, or at the end of the day, turn the microphone off by sliding the power
switch down to the Off position.
8. Return the microphone to the charging station or connect it to the wall charger. Make
sure that the microphone is turned off before charging it.
ATTENTION: Do not recharge alkaline batteries.
Adjusting the Microphone Volume
Pendant microphone volume adjustment
To adjust the volume on the VLP 202 Pendant Microphone, use the Volume rocker button
on the left side as follows:
• Press the top section of the button (marked with a raised

) to raise the volume.
• Press the bottom section of the button (marked with a raised

) to lower the volume.
