4. Pull cables to the PoleVault switcher.
a. Pull the cables from the receiver to the PoleVault
switcher’s location.
b. Remove the base of the PMK Pole Mount Kit to access
the switcher.
c. Run the cables down through the top of the pole and
out through the access hole.
5. Connect cables to the PoleVault
switcher.
a. Disconnect the cable from the PoleVault switcher’s
5-pole RS-232 MLC/IR port, and disconnect the power
cable from the switcher.
b. Connect the VoiceLift adapter to the PoleVault
switcher as follows:
• Connect the adapter’s three-pole captive screw
connector to the switcher’s three-pole Aux/Mix In
port.
• Connect the adapter’s ve-pole connector to the
switcher’s RS-232 MLC/IR port.
c. Connect the Ethernet cable to the VoiceLift adapter’s
RJ-45 jack.
d. Connect the MLC controller’s power/communication
cable to the VoiceLift adapter’s ve-pole captive screw
connector.
e. Reconnect the power cable to the PoleVault switcher.
f. Reattach the bottom section of the PMK (containing
the switcher) to the top section.

PoleVault switcher.

Connect the MLC cable to the adapter’s
five-pole MLC connector.
