Configuring a VN-MATRIX as a Decoder (display)
The following procedure assumes that at least one VN-MATRIX encoder has been configured and is
ready to stream a source (see page 46)
It is also assumed that a suitable display device is connected to the VN-MATRIX.
For details on how to connect a display, see pages 39 and 40.
NOTE: This procedure provides a basic level of configuration which will be adequate for most
systems. For additional ‘Advanced Setup’ options, see pages 74 to 81.
HINT: You can change the default device Name to be
more relevant to the source input (e.g. Screen1).
NOTE: Device names can use letters and numbers, as
well as the underscore and hyphen characters, but must
not include spaces.

On the Device List page click the
device that you want to configure.
The Device page will then appear…
