Changing the Virtual Display Properties
Various properties of the virtual display area can be
altered according to personal taste or to assist in the
creation of scenes. Most of these properties can be
changed using the Virtual Display Properties toolbar
(see Fig.6 on page 70).
Layout Grid The layout grid is used to assist in the accurate placing of
windows on the target display. When the grid is visible,
the borders of all windows automatically snap to the grid.
When the grid is not visible, the snap to grip feature is
disabled.
~ To show or hide the grid, click the button.
NOTE: When the grid is hidden, the snap to grid feature
is disabled.
Grid Lines You can change number of vertical and horizontal ‘lines’
in the layout grid as follows:
~ To increase the number of grid ‘lines’ click the
button, or press Page Down on the keyboard.
~ To decrease the number of grid ‘lines’ click the
button, or press Page Up on the keyboard.
Holding down the shift key while placing or resizing a
window, temporarily disables the snap to grid feature.
