Receiver
Figure 9 shows an MTP RL 15HD RS receiver, which has all of
the connectors and other features that you will nd on either
receiver in the MTP 15HD RS series.

Power connection

Power connector — Plug the included external 12 VDC power
supply into this 2-pole captive screw connector. See “Power
supply wiring” on page 18 to wire the connector.
Twisted pair connections
CAUTION
Do not connect these devices to a computer data or
telecommunications network.
The non C7 transmitters and receivers will not work
properly with CAT 7 TP cable.
The C7 transmitters and receivers will work properly
only with CAT 7 UTP cable.

Receiver input connector — Connect one end of the TP cable
from the transmitter or from the Buffered Output connector of a
receiver to this RJ-45 female connector.
See “TP cable termination” on page 20 to properly wire the
RJ-45 connectors.
