Example 8: Viewing and adjusting an input audio level

This procedure can only be performed if the audio/RS-232 wire pair of the input
is defined as audio (see “Defining the Audio/RS-232 wire pair“ on page 3-38.

Because of the different gain and attenuation display schemes, the input audio
levels that result from the following example are shown twice: as displayed on a
16-output button switcher and on a 32-output button switcher. The 16-button
displays show the actions that led up to the display. For simplicity, the figures
showing 32-button displays show the gain or attenuation display only, not the
actions that led up to it.
The following example shows an audio level being viewed and adjusted. The steps
show the front panel indications that result from your actions.
The output LEDs display the audio gain and attenuation by blinking and light
subsequent LEDs.

Audio LED blinks (figure 3-44).
