PRELIMINARY
Saving and restoring the confi guration
Before programming any buttons, you may want to save the DVCM 50’s current
confi guration in case you want to restore those settings in the future.
Saving a confi guration
1. From the File menu, select Save CONFIGURATION as... .

The “Save Current MediaLink Confi guration as...” window opens.
2. If necessary, browse to locate the folder in which you want to save your
confi guration. (It is recommended that you save it in the MediaLink folder, or
in another directory where the fi le can be found easily.)
3. Make sure the Save as type fi eld is set to MediaLink Confi gs (*.MLK).
4. Enter a name for the confi guration in the File name fi eld, in the format
fi lename.mlk.
Save Current MediaLink Confi guration as... window.
5. Click Save. The current confi guration is saved as a fi le with a .mlk extension.
