Selecting an Input
To select an input from the front panel, perform the following actions:
1. Press the input selection button that corresponds with the desired rear panel input
connector.
2. The corresponding LED lights to indicate the active input.
Setting the Front Panel Lockout Mode (Executive Mode)
Push and hold (for about 5 seconds) inputs 1, 2, and 3 simultaneously until the front
panel LEDs blink three times to enable or disable front panel configuration. In executive
mode, contact closure and RS-232 control are still available. By default, executive mode is
disabled.
Setting Switch Modes
The FOX T USW 203 operates in two different switch modes: Normal and Auto Switch. In
Normal switch mode, select inputs from the front panel manually. In Auto Switch mode, an
input is selected automatically based on the active inputs (see the table below for button
combinations).
To enable or disable executive, auto switch, or normal switch mode from the front panel,
press and hold a combination of input selection buttons simultaneously until the appropriate
LEDs blink (see the table below for the different button combinations).
NOTE: Setting audio switch mode to prioritize the lowest numbered active input can be
done only with SIS commands (see Auto switch mode SIS commands on page 16).
Normal switch mode is the default mode.
To enable normal switch mode and disable auto switch mode, push and hold (for about
3 seconds) inputs 1 and 2 until the front panel Auto Switch LED turns off.
