DVCM 50 • Software-based Confi guration and Control

Comm Port Selection menu
The text fi eld near the top of the Comm Port window shows “MLC 52/
DVCM 50 Control Program” as the name of the software, and this program is
used with both the MLC 52 and the DVCM 50. When the software is opened,
it detects your DVCM 50 connection to the PC and displays the DVCM 50
screen.
2. Select the comm port through which your computer will communicate with
the DVCM 50.
3. Click OK. After a few seconds, the Extron DVCM 50 confi guration program
screen appears, displaying the Controller (MLC) Confi g. tab. (The DVCM 50
screen has only this tab.)
