EDID and Mute Settings Page
The EDID and Mute Settings page provides a way to set the EDID resolution and refresh
rate for each input and to mute and unmute all or individual outputs. Access the EDID and
Mute Settings page (see figure 66) by clicking the EDID and Mute Settings link on the Set
and View Ties page.

NOTES:
• EDID communicates video display information, including native resolution and
vertical interval refresh rate requirements, to the input. The input device then
outputs the optimal video format for the output (such as a display) based on the
provided EDID data, ensuring proper video image quality. This communication
takes place over the Display Data Channel (DDC).
• On the EDID and Mute Settings page, the EDID data can come from either an
active output or be set to a specified value.
Select the resolution and refresh rate for an output by using the drop-down box for that
input.
Save the output resolution of the monitor connected to output 1 to one of the User
Assigned locations by clicking the desired User button.
Toggle mute on and off for an output by clicking the Mute button for that output.
