Chapter 3: Hardware models
Hardware models for VSP 7200 Series
This section lists the VSP 7200 Series hardware.
Two additional VSP 7200 Series models are now available: these are referred to as Port-Licensed
models. By default these models ship with the first twenty-four of the forty-eight 10 Gigabit ports
(SFP+ or RJ45), and the first four of the six 40 Gigabit ports, enabled. The remaining twenty-four 10
Gigabit ports and the remaining two 40 Gigabit ports can be field-enabled through the purchase and
installation of the optional Port License.

40 GbE QSFP+ ports require a port license
to be operational.
