NTP configuration using ACLI
This section describes how to configure the Network Time Protocol (NTP) using Avaya Command
Line Interface (ACLI).
Before you configure NTP, you must perform the following tasks:
• Configure an IP interface on the switch and ensure that the NTP server is reachable through
this interface. For instructions, see Configuring IP Routing on Avaya Virtual Services Platform
7200 Series and 8000 Series, NN47227-505.
Important:
NTP server MD5 authentication does not support passwords (keys) that start with a special
character or that contain a space between characters.
This task flow shows the sequence of procedures you perform to configure NTP.
