Transceiver support
VSP Operating System software now allows the use of transceivers and direct attach cables from
any vendor, which means that the switch will bring up the port operationally when using any
transceiver. Extreme Networks does not provide support for operational issues related to the use of
third party transceivers and direct attach cables used in the switches.
