Danger:
Using power cords with a proper grounding path
Use only power cords that have a grounding path. Without a proper ground, a person who
touches the switch is in danger of receiving an electrical shock. Lack of a grounding path to the
switch can result in excessive emissions. For a translation of this statement, see Translations of

Connect power to the rear panel
Connect the AC power cord to the rear of the switch, and then connect the cord to an AC power
outlet. The following figure shows how to connect the AC power cord to the switch rear panel.
Important:
The VSP 4000 series has no AC power switch. When you connect the power cord to a suitable,
energized AC power outlet, the switch powers up immediately.
