Commands for Conﬁguring Redundancy

enable vrrp auto-sync

Description

Enables VRRP automatic synchronization on the application switch.

Syntax Description

This command has no parameters or options.

Default

VRRP automatic synchronization is disabled by default.

Usage Guidelines

You must have administrator privileges to issue this command.

If this switch is to be the master switch, you must issue to configure vrrp auto-sync backup to

identify the corresponding backup switch. If this switch is to be the backup switch, you must issue to

configure vrrp auto-sync master to identify the corresponding master switch.

You must use the build command to commit the conÞguration changes made by this command.

Example

This command enables VRRP automatic synchronization.

enable vrrp auto-sync
