Syntax: power-on [ power-supply decimal ]
The decimal variable species a power supply index number.
Replacing a power supply
To replace a power supply, have the following items available:
• A new power supply (AC or DC), which you can order from Extreme Networks.
• A small at-blade or Phillips screwdriver (MLXe-4 and MLXe-32 modules)
CAUTION
Remove the power cord from a power supply before you install it in or remove it from the device. Otherwise, the power
supply or the device could be damaged as a result. (The device can be running while a power supply is being installed or
removed, but the power supply itself should not be connected to a power source.)
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the chassis and components, never attempt to lift the chassis using the fan or power supply handles.
These handles were not designed to support the weight of the chassis.
1. Disconnect the power supply from the power source.
2. Disconnect the power cables from the power supply.
