Explanation
These messages indicate that a telnet connection was opened to a switch and then closed without
entering the user name. The switch does not generate any entry for logging into the switch; it only
generates a log message stating that a particular user has just logged out.
If the previous user logged in and out as a local account user via a telnet session, and the next user
tried to log in but aborted, you will see this message. In addition, instead of displaying
User ~5 ~8p
logged out from telnet
, the switch will display the logout messages for the previous user.
