Finding Devices
You can search for a device in the EPICenter database by name, by IP address, or by type
of device. This may be useful if you have a large number of devices in your inventory.
To search for a device, follow these steps:
1 Click Find at the top of the Inventory Manager page.
The Find Devices dialog, shown in Figure 6-10, is displayed.

2 Enteryoursearchcriteria:
You can search for devices by name or by IP address. You can limit the search to a
specific device group, or to a specific type of Extreme device. Search criteria can
include:
— Adevicename.Click theDeviceName button,andenter acompleteorpartial name
in the Search: field.
— An IP address. Click the IP Address button and enter a complete or partial IP
address in the Search: field. You can use the wild card characters * or ? in your
search criteria.
