Using Licenses to Establish Flow Rate Capacity
24 of 218
PV-FPM-3M 3,000,000
NETSIGHTEVAL 3,000,000
The following list shows the NAC end-system licenses and their limits:
ExtremeAnalytics End-System License
Name
Maximum End-System Limit
NMS-ADV-XXX 100
NETSIGHTEVAL / Subscription 2,000
Note: If no flow rate license is applied,
nms/netsighteval/subscription uses this
end-system limit rather than the flow rate
limits for licensing purposes.
88201 1,000
88202 3,000
88203 12,000
ExtremeAnalytics licensing is enforced through Extreme Management Center.
The capacity allowed by each license is applied to the entire deployment and is
calculated by adding together the usage numbers for each unique end-system
or by adding together the flow rates for each ExtremeAnalytics engine in the
deployment, depending on which license is being used. The capacity is checked
on a continual basis.
NOTE: The Max End-Systems field in the ExtremeAnalytics Engine Advanced Configuration panel
allows you to limit the end-systems from a single ExtremeAnalytics engine persisted in the
Extreme Management Center database. This limits the amount of data stored on one engine.
Using Licenses to Establish Flow Rate Capacity
The following example shows how you can select ExtremeAnalytics licenses to
achieve a desired flow rate capacity for your deployment.
The NMS-ADV license provides a basic flow rate capacity of 3,000 fpm (flows
per minute). If you add additional ExtremeAnalytics licenses, the capacity is
