Figure 11: Interference Recovery tab
Channel Hold Time
The minimum amount of time between two channel changes due to interference on a Smart RF
managed radio. The default is 30 minutes when you select a Medium Sensitivity setting.
Client Threshold
The number of wireless clients that a Smart RF managed radio will not perform a channel
change due to interference. The default value is 50 clients when you select a Medium Sensitivity
setting.
Channel Switch Delta (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz)
The minimum expected between the perceived energy on the radio's current channel compared
to the best possible alternate channel. The default is 20 when you select a Medium Sensitivity
setting.
Coverage Hole Recovery
The Coverage Hole feature performs power changes when wireless device connectivity falls below a
defined SNR threshold. The Client Threshold, SNR Threshold, Coverage Interval, and Interval
parameters are automatically assigned the optimum values based on the Sensitivity value selected
in the Basic Configuration screen. These values can also be modified when setting the Sensitivity
value to Custom.
Figure 12 provides a detailed overview of each important Coverage Hole Recovery parameter, which
can be defined for all Smart RF managed radios:
