Click Add Rule, to display the following window:
In this window, the following parameters can be configured:
Parameters Description
Access ID (1-65535) Type in a unique identifier number for this access. This value can be set from
1 to 65535.
Auto Assign – Ticking this check box will instruct the Switch to automatically
assign an Access ID for the rule being created.
VLAN Name Selecting this option instructs the Switch to examine the VLAN part of each
packet header and use this as the, or part of the, criterion for forwarding
VLAN ID (1-4094) Mask ____ (0-FFF) – Specifies a VLAN ID.
VLAN ID Allows the entry of a VLAN ID for a previously configured VLAN.
Source MAC Address Specifies a MAC address mask for the source MAC address.
Source MAC Mask Specifies a MAC address mask for the source MAC address. This mask is
entered in a hexadecimal format.
Destination MAC Address Specifies a MAC address for the destination MAC address.
Destination MAC Mask Specifies a MAC address mask for the destination MAC address.
802.1p (0-7) Enter a value from 0 to 7 to specify that the access profile will apply only to
packets with this 802.1p priority value.
Ethernet Type (0-FFFF) Enter a value that the access profile will apply only to packets with this
hexadecimal 802.1Q Ethernet type value in the packet header.
