To add a DIMM to the MSM, follow these steps:
1 Prior to removing or installing DIMMs on the MSM, put on the ESD wrist strap that
is provided with the chassis, and connect the metal end to the ground receptacle
located on the top-left corner of the BlackDiamond front panel.
2 Locate the DIMM sockets on the MSM.
3 Position the DIMM in the socket by ensuring that the gold fingers of the DIMM slip
into the connector and the keying notches align.
4 Secure the DIMM by press down firmly until the DIMM is locked into the socket
and the ejector locks rotate into position, as shown in Figure 3-3.
