The Seven-Segment Display (SSD) is used to provide information about startup or processor load.
NOTE
The error codes represented by the SSD are context dependent on the state of the LEDs (ACT, W, E).
System Startup
The firmware and bootloader procedures execute the system startup phase. Table 7 provides SSD
descriptions.
The SSD b is displayed to indicate that the OS has started. This is followed by multiple subsystem
specific information signs. Each sign represents a subsystem in ascending order. When everything is
OK, the display returns to SSD b.
In case of error during startup, an E with a numeric error-code flash on the SSD to identify the error.
Application States
The Activity LED becomes active to indicate that the system has completed startup diagnostic
procedures (POST), and the OS has properly loaded. The Act LED indicates that the Summit WM Series
WLAN Switch Software is running. The corresponding running state of the application is indicated in
the SSD. All other LEDs default to off unless otherwise specified. The Activity, Minor/Major, INT and
SSD are available to report running codes.
