In any case where the originally installed product has been discontinued, Exteria reserves the
right to replace the defective product with a product of similar quality and price. In the event of a
partial repair or replacement, the owner acknowledges that a color, texture and material variance
may occur between original and replacement product. Exteria shall have a reasonable amount of
time for the processing of warranty claims to accommodate scheduling and weather. The
completion of warranty work shall not extend the duration of the applicable warranty period, and
the termination of such warranty period will remain unchanged despite any warranty claim.
How To File A Claim
To file a warranty claim, the owner must contact Exteria Building Products at 1111 NW 165 Street,
Miami, FL 33169-5871, Attn: Warranty Department or call 877-398-3742 before the ninetieth (90
th
)
day after the defect is or should have been discovered.
Within 30 days after notification, the original purchaser or properly registered transferee
must:
• Complete and return the warranty claim packet provided by Exteria Building Products.
• Submit an original proof of purchase of the Exteria product and evidence of ownership
of your property in order for Exteria Building Products to process your claim. (All
originals will be returned by certified receipt)
THE REMEDY STATED ABOVE IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND EXTERIA’S
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION IN RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCT OR ANY DEFECT
THEREIN.
Your Responsibility- Care and Maintenance
Exteria Building Products siding requires little maintenance, but the siding may become dirty and
needs to be cleaned at least every other year, preferably yearly, to remove dirt or mildew.
Generally your Exteria siding can be cleaned satisfactory with the use of an ordinary garden hose;
do not power wash Exteria siding. If plain water or a light soapy solution does not remove the dirt,
we suggest the following:
Gently wash siding with a soft bristle brush and water from garden hose. Where dirt is more
difficult to remove, the following cleaning solutions work well:
1/3 cup detergent (e.g. Tide)
2/3 cup trisodium (e.g. Soilax)
4 quarts of water
